I can’t tell whether or not I have a yeast infection. I’m a little itchy, but not like I usually am when I have a yeast infection. I tried to buy a tester kit at CVS, but they didn’t have any. I’d prefer to just take some Monistat just in case, but is that bad for me?

I wouldnt think it would hurt! Just in case i would wait to get a test first try walmart! 24hrs mostly!

Yes if you take the wrong kind of yeast infection medicine or take it when you don’t even have a yeast infection your body can get used to the ingredients and then when you really do have a yeast infection, the yeast might be harder to get rid of because it built up resistance to it. You’re suppose to go to the doctor when you suspect you have an infection so they can tell you for sure if you have one and the right type of medication you need.
